    Ring - worm.
    The ring - worm is a disease which is taken around the head or neck. It comes in the form of a worm on the neck or head. It is believed that the seventh sister or brother has the cure of it. The worm is put on the child's hand when it is born and if it dies on the child's hand it has the cure. Una Koen has the cure of it in this district. She puts her hand on the sore and says some prayers. Mondays and Thursday are the days for doing it, and it has to be done nine times before the child is cured.
