   There is some gold and jewels at this hospital near Cloonamahon! Some of the boys of the merdiths who lived there long ago hid it in a gap near the house in which they lived. He gathered all the treasures and jewels of the house and he went away and hid it in a gap and he never could find it. All the people of the house were wondered where the money went. One day he told them that he hid it in a gap near the house and the went and searched but they never could find it. The people of the county said that the money moved in the ground. When this man was dying he was always dreaming about the boot in the gap. Many people of this country dreamed of this gold and when the went the man that died was standing before them. A man in Carrickbanagher dreamed of this gold. His name was John Pilkington. He was to go at the dead hour of the night. He was told where it was and what he was to do. And when he went the man that was dead was there the same as ever. When he went to dig for the gold the man would not let
