  1. There is an old castle situated on the land of Falix Gallagher of Meemlagh, about four miles from Collooney. This old castle is called Meemlagh castle it is about 60 feet high. it is also seen for many miles around that same place, because it is very high. There is a old stone stair case leading to the top of this old castle. Any person that goes up on the top of this old castle, has a great view all around him, but at the present day it is very dangerous to go up on top of it, as the mortar and stones are crubbing away. It would be long ago fallen to ruins only for the present Magor O Hara built up buttresses around it, it being
