  1. The small children in our district usually play "Tig" as a pastime. Both boys and girls play this game. In this game one of the players counts and the person whom the last word of the count falls on is out. The count thus continues on till there is but one person left, and he or she has the tig. The one who has the tig tries to catch the other, and if he succeeds the one caught has the tig.
    In summer the boys play football, hurling, and handball. In winter they play marbles on some occasions
