  1. Nowadays there is not as much churning done as there was in former times, because the people find they can make more profit by sending the milk to the Creamery. But at any rate it is a very odd house in which there is not a churn to be found.
    The churn which we have at home is about three foot high, and about one foot and a half wide both at top and bottom. The sides are round. It is around ten years old.
    The various parts of the churn are : - the lid, the dash, and the joggler or cup.
