    When my father was a small boy himself and his brother were invited to a local wedding/

    When my father was a small boy himself and his brother were invited to a local wedding. They went for dinner after the marriage, and their father and mother followed for the night celebrations.
    Dinner was served and Daddy and Uncle were served each of them got a half goose which had been split up the middle. One looked at the other and wondered how they would be able to consume their most generous helping. It had a most fragrant smell, as it was stuffed with raisins, currants, and carraway-seeds.
