  1. There once lived a boy named Michael Barret and was a great cyclist. His father was teacher of Camphill School Collooney for many years . This young boy took up cycling at the age of twenty one yes and was neve beaten in a race from a half mile to fifty miles. He was killed in a motor cycle accident about twenty seven years ago when he was practising for a motor cycle race on Portmarnock Strand at the age of twenty eight years.
