    There are many signs for the weather around this district of Coolaney and here are some of them.
    Fog.
    The fog is said to bring good weather when it is going out to the sea, and bad weather when it is coming in from the sea.
    Moon
    It is said when there is a ring around the moon it is a sign of very bad weather.
    Dust.
    It is said that when the dust rises off the road and goes up high and low in the air it is the sign of a storm.
    Smoke
    When the smoke goes up straight from the chimney it is a sign of hot weather and when it goes up crooked it is the sign
