On this page

First of all the land is ploughed up. Then it is made into ridges. Next the seed is sown in rows three to each row. Then manure is spread lightly on top of the ridges. Next the "suchs" are dug up.

After some time when the stalks appear they are sprayed with bluestone and washing soda. Then they are dug up and put into pits in the field. Then they are brought home and put into a pit.
