  1. Once upon a time there lived in Corrowilkeen a man named Johnnie McNamee. He was building a new house and every morning when he would go out he'd get many tracks of childrens' feet around the house. The roof was put on and when he went out the next morning the roof was sitting away out in the field where the house was built.
He had to remove the house and build it in another place, for the fairies owned the land on which it was built.
