There was once a man in Ballyglass, Co. Sligo who had a large farm of land away form his home and he had a large flock of sheep grazing on it. Every morning when he went to count his sheep one was missing. So he thought of a plan. There was and old man living in the house with him. He put the old man into a big box with lots of chicken and he cut a hole in the side of the box for the old man to see what was bringing the sheep. Net day he came for the box and on his way home he asked the old man did they bring anyone and there was no answer. When he took the lid off he found the old man choked with a leg of the chicken.
