There was a man going to a fair once.

There was a man going to our fair once. That time they used to leave about midnight. There were no carts at that time so they used to walk the pigs to the fair. The man who was going to the fair met another man who was dead. The dead man told him to drive his pigs into a street as the fairies were holding a fair a little lower down the road. He put his pigs onto this street. Another man came along but he did not put his pigs along with the other pigs. He only laughed at the other man. As soon as he came to the place where the fair was he was held up and he could not go kill the cockcrew. When he came to the fair the pigs were all marked. The other man came along and nothing happened to him.
