Once upon a time there was a man who was going to a fair in Charlestown on May morning.

Once upon a time there was a man who was going to a fair in Charlestown on May morning. As he was on his way to the fair he saw a woman combing her hair at a well. She was saying "All for me" and he went on his way. As he was passing on, he heard people making a churning and he didn't heed them. When he want to the fair he went to put his hand in his pocket to get some money to buy a calf and he found that there was nothing else in his pockets except butter.
