    For heartburn chew the bark of the alder and swallow the juice.
    Boglus:-
    This is the Ragwort. The plant is bruised or pounded with oat meal and used as a plaster for scalds and scalding feet.
    Bogbeam:-
    Bogbeam is really a blister. It is used as a blister for Sciatica or lumbago.
    Comfrey:-
    This is used for a plaster for drawing and healing sores. It is also a great cure for a dog bite.
    Glas na coille:-
    This is an infallible cure for whitlow.
    Woodbine:-
    The stem is chewed for sore mouth.
