    Some people are supposed to
    have the power of curing certain
    diseases.
    If seven sons are in a family
    and no girl in between, the seventh
    son is supposed to be able to
    cure ring worm by rubbing his
    hand on the sore.
    A child who never saw his
    father has the cure of a fowl
    mouth.
    If a person who has the whooping cough drinks a ferrets leavings or drinks asse's milk he will get over it.
    Years ago when children had the whooping cough the parents made it their business to meet a man riding on a white horse. They
    asked the man for a cure and
    anything he said to give the sick
    children was sure to cure them.
