  1. Once there lived in Ballincurry a very strong woman named Atty Cawley.
    It was her custom to cross the fields to the town as a near way. She carried her shoes in her hand until near the town and then put them on.
    On her return home she was seen carrying a seven stone bag of flour on her shoulder, and the shoes in the other hand. She was walking without any trouble and crossed the fences easily.
