- The Landlord.
The landlords name was Mr. Creighton. For about forty years he was landlord in this place. He settled here in this place when he was landlord. He was looked upon as a good landlord. While he was in this district, there were no evictions carried out. By heirship he came into possession of this district. The land was divided into farms under their guidance. Farms were not subdivided among members of families on marriage.
