situated in the parish of Skreen in the barony of Tireragh. There are only five families in this townland consisting only of nine people. None of these people are very aged and therefore do not speak the Irish language. The houses in this townland are one storied thatched houses with the exception of one which has galvanised Iron roof. The land is of excellent quality and is suitable for both tillage and grazing. There is a fort at the back of our house and it is the opnion of the people around that there is an underground there but this has never been excavated to anybodys knolage. There are no woods nor streams nor ruins. I am not aware of song or story written about this place.
