    Early in the morning,
    At half-past nine.
    You shall hear,
    The post-man's knock.
    Then while they sing-:
    Post man, Post man,
    Drop your letter.
    The girl drops it.
    post man, post man,
    Pick it up.
She then picks it up while skipping still.
