    May Day
    It is supposed when you are milking on May Day and if a person crosses your field that time, it is said you will never have a bit of butter that year again. It is also said that when you go out milking on May morning or evening you should give the first few streams of milk to the fairies and that you will have luck during the rest of the year when you will leave the first few streams of milk on the grass for the fairies,
