  1. A mote in the eye was and is cured in this district by a man called Mr John Lynch Farniharpy, Skreen, Co, Sligo. The cure is:- get a cup and saucer take a drink of water and the man that has the cure says prayers and when he has finished the mote leaves the eye.

  2. Toothache was and is cured in this district. The last boy that cured it was John Edie James. He got a frog and put him in his mouth and he never had toothache since that day. It was when going to school he got the frog.
