  1. There are two forts in the townland of Rathdonnel, they are connected by an underground passage.
    There is no entrance to Rathdonnel fort and the passage leading into Rathmaol fort is now nearly closed in with ferns and other flowers.
    Lights were seen continually on those forts.
    It is said that a man named James Jordan was walking by Rathmaol fort on night, he heard some lovely music and he went up to the top of the fort to find where the music was coming from, someone
