  1. A person suffering from a severe pain in his head gets his head measured, first from the back of his head to the top of his nose and again from his chin to the top of his head. If the latter measurement is longer than the former this person is said to be suffering from head fever.
The person that is making the cure then says certain prayers and ties a band round the sick person's head. This must be done three times, on two Mondays and a Thursday or on two Thursdays and a Monday.
