    After a few days burning, the lime is taken out and water thrown on it to break the stones that are in it. Mr Gallagher from Attymass sells the lime to this day.
    James Hennigan does not burn any for anyone but his own use.
    It is said that lime is good for rushy or bad land because it burns the rushes. It is said that ghost used to be seen in the kilns. It is said that the bean-sice was seen in the kiln situated in Corballa a hundred yards from the main-road.
