  2. Cures were made long ago out of herbs. Asse's milk and ferrets leavings were cures for chin cough and whooping-cough. Goat's milk was a preventitive of consumption. To eat a little sugar and to hold the wrist of the hand tight was the cure for a hiccough. If a person had worms in his stomach the cure was
