    Oatmeal porridge was the principal food used long ago. Water was boiled and oatmeal was thrown into it. It had to be kept mixed until it was boiled. Then it was eaten with milk. To make oaten-bread oatmeal was mixed with hot water and put on the pan to bake.

  2. About a half of shells of oatmeal and a handful of oatmeal were stept in water for a week. Then it was boiled and made a light gruel.
    When it cooled it set. This was called "súghán"
