There is an old Abbey in Sligo which is hundreds of years old. There is a tunnel leading under the Abbey to a place in Cairns known as the Foxes Den. The priest used to escape that way they were persecuted.
There is an old Abbey in Dromahair. When they were building it the men were thirsty. They saw an old woman with water. They asked her for some but she refused. Then they carved her face on one of the stones which is there to this day. The Abbey is a couple of hundred years old.
