- Rub a raw onion on the lump, which should disappear in three or four days.
- Drink boiled garlic water
- (a) Squeeze the moisture from the garlic and give it as a drink.
(b) Look for a horse with four white legs, and ask the owner for a cure. Whatever he prescribed would be the cure. - (a) For a person with a cold on his chest you get a piece of brown paper and a piece of a blessed candle. Melt the candle at the fire and let the grease drip on the paper, in the form of a cross. Place this on the persons chest who has the cold and in "no time" the cold is cured.(continues on next page)
