  1. People in the olden days had three meals a day. They ate Indian Meal or Pinhead Oatmeal with milk int he morning and at night before going to bed, and they had potatoes and buttermilk for their dinner. People gathered round the table or round the fireside + put their mugs or bowls on the hob.
