  1. I can make a gollywog from wool. I stretch out my thumb and second finger and wind the wool across these. I put on about thirty strands. Then I take it off carefully and tie a little bit of wool very near the top and I cut the loops above this for the hair. I tie a bit of wool round where the neck should be and another bit half way between that and the toes. I divide the strands in two and tie them up for the legs.
