    Here is an old rann commonly heard regarding lucky wedding day.

    "Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday, best day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses,
    Saturday, no luck at all"
    "Straw boys"
    Some five years ago an old man named JW Mc Garahan? of Kilsiela? married for the third time. He was then a man of nearly seventy summers and when he arrived home in the evening with his bride the "Straw boys" were waiting to greet him. They wore tunics and pointed hats made of straw and played cheerful tunes on
