    Wart-weed - a juicy green plant found in the ditches is used for curing warts. The stem is broken and the milk in it is applied to the wart several times.
    Ferrets leavings are used as a cure for whooping cough. The ferret is given milk to drink and whatever he leaves after him is given to the person who has whooping cough.
    A Stone-bruise:- Put a piece of very fat bacon on the bruise
