    saw her coming crying and wringing her hands. The man of the house asked her what was wrong. She told him that their son had died. He never made her an answer and went into the house. He started to pile a bundle of sticks on the fire. His wife said they had enough trouble without trying to burn the house. He said if that child was not taken out of the bed very soon that he would sent it out the chimney in flames.
    When they looked at the bed again the corpse was not to be seen. The man went out to the field and took in his own child and gave it to its mother.
