  1. Holy Wells
    Our Lady's Well.
This well is situated in Lissadell, ajacent to the road leading from Lissadell Barracks to Dunowney.
Local tradition traces the origin of this well to the following:- An invalid boy dreamt one night that there was a spot in the field where the well now is where he would be cured. He asked his companions to carry him to the spot. On reaching it Our Lady appeared to him and a well sprung up at his feet. He bathed in the waters and he was instantly cured. He was able to walk home.
It is also said that a trout has been seen in the well from time to time.
