    heard the shots, and when all the shots had faired over, the people brought home the dead men down from the mountain and buried them.
    There is a procession to where these men were shot every year since.

  2. As they were going up the mountain through a "clash" the Free State soldiers saw them and fired four shots one after another at them with their machine guns.
    There was a man going up the mountain afterwards and he saw a man's cap on the path. By this sign he knew they were dead.
