  1. IV Churning - Taking the Butter - Some people it is said have power to take the butter from their neighbours, if they would not take a brash (a hand art the churning.
    There is a story about a woman who was milking her cows when another woman came to her looking for milk. The other woman said to wait until she had milked. The woman went into the house and brought a jug of milk from the churn with her. Next day the woman of the milking cows churned and when they had finished they had no butter. It is said that the other woman brought the butter with her.
