- (continued from previous page)with flour and then baked. In olden times the potato cake was very often made out of boiled potatoes and a little amount of flour and some soda. Then it is baked in an oven or on a pan for a certain length of time.
- Cream cake is lively. This is how it is made. A butter is made of the cream off the top of the pan instead of the milk. It is put into a tin and put into the oven and baked for about half an hour. Then is served hot.
