  1. Long ago, the old people used to make poteen out on the mountain. The men used to spend the day making it on the mountain.
Every night, the men came home to their homes. One night the people were out looking when the men were coming home from making the poteen all day long. The people were afraid the police would catch them making it because it was against the law.
Then they saw many horses coming towards them and soldiers riding them and it was said it was the farmer.
