There were two brothers here, both bachelors. They lived adjacent (east side of William McGloins now). O’Connors of P. Office have their land. Neither were married, hence name died out when they departed from this world.

    Connolly
This man was a teacher in old school which was situated where wood is now. The land he owned he sold to landlord. This is site of Cloontybawn wood now. He was single and when he died Ashley the landlord knocked down the house and planted the present wood pine. Hence Connolly family wiped out.
