    for the rest of the Winter. This is very noticeable and one which is eagerly watched for.
    On May day it is considered very unlucky to give milk away. Say a neighbour runs short some for the supper and comes to a neighbour for a small drop. They give it unwillingly and I have known cases it to be refused by old people. The younger generation taboo this but the older believe it to be the cause of sickness in their flock, if done.
