    This is important as far as marriages are concerned. No marriages take place on Saturdays - generally on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday
    Saturday is considered a bad day for changing from place to place. "A Saturday's (sittings) flotting, is a short sitting". Those who move on Saturdays will move again very soon.
    The Riabóg days are the last two of March and the 1st April. One borrowed from April to skin the sow who was boasting that she had outlived the cold days of March
    A wet May fills the haggard with hay.
