All people if possible attend 3 masses on Xmas Day. The common one of sending presents is prevalent.

The Wren Boys.
This has died out completely. Not even the oldest man - 70 years - cannot remember it ever been here.

Here is the rhyme as regards marriage.
"Monday for health,
Tuesday is wealth,
Wednesday is the best day of all,
Thursday for losses,
Friday for crosses and Saturday no day at all"
