- There are two graveyards in Innishmurray, one for the men and one for the women. Once upon a time there was a man buried in the women's graveyard. The people went home that night and in the morning they found the corpse over ground. They buried the remains again and every night they used to hear crying at the grave, and they had to lift the corpse and bury it in the men's graveyard. Then the crying ceased.
