  1. Two men named Pat and Hugh Murtagh who lived in the townland of Bunduff, Parish of Ahamlish, Barony of Carbury, Co Sligo were wonderful mowers about forty years ago.
    They could cut two and a half Irish acres of meadow from ten o'clock in the morning until seven o'clock in the evening.
    All the farmers in this district employed them.
    When mowing they wore nothing but flannel drawers and a shirt.
    It was said that they were the best mowers in Connaught.
