  1. A man and his wife once lived on a big farm. they had a servant boy who was an orphan. He used to herd a lot of cattle. Amongst the cattle was a small calf which used to lick a rock - a magic rock - every day.
    The calf was growing bigger every day.
    One day the boy said he would go up to the rock and look at it. As he was examining the rock, the calf turned it over with his head and underneath was a pot of gold.
    The boy ran away with the gold, leaving the cattle behind him.
    When night came he came to a big house. The house was a king's palace. He asked could he get lodgings for
