    About fifty years ago the Landlord of the district of Cliffony, Parish of Ahamlish, Barony of Carbury, Co Sligo was the Hon Evelyn Ashley and his local Agent was a Mr Barker.
    The Landlord was a fairly popular man but the Agent was hated by the people, being a tyrant of the worst description.
