    When a person in this district is suffering from ringworm he or she goes to this woman. She says certain prayers and makes the sign of the cross three times with her finger on the sore part.
    Three visits are paid to Mrs McGowan. Immediately after the third visit a cure takes place.

  2. Long ago when a person suffered from a disease called the "Mumps", some other person got an asses halter and put it on the sick person's head.
    Another person drove the sick person into a pig sty and all around the walls inside saying while doing so "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, amen."
