  1. About thirty years ago there was a hunt near Benbullen Mountain, Parish of Ahamlish Barony of Carbury, Co Sligo.
    The horsemen galloping quickly came after the dogs and hare.
    A man named John Kerrins who was then fifty years of age, lived in a small house at the foot of the mountain.
    There was a big hole beside the house and the horses were not able to jump it.
    Kerrins said to the riders "You have poor horses that cannot jump the hole." "I will bet a pound I will jump it."
    Taking a running race, he jumped it and said to them "Go home and feed your horses." At the age of seventy years, he went to America.
