  1. About 50 years ago a ship was wrecked on the Streedagh shore, convenient to the village of Grange, Parish of Ahamlish, Barony of Carbury, Co Sligo.
    A good many sailors were on board and as the ship was drifting towards the rocks, all except one jumped overboard and were drowned.
    The man stuck to the ship until it stranded and then jumped out.
    There was gold in the ship and the sailor before leaving
