  1. In a garden to the rear of Mr Matthew Loughlin's house, in the townland of Ballinphul, Parish of Ahamlish, Barony of Carbury Co Sligo, is a big grave about ten feet long and four feet wide.
    At one end of this grave is a big stone about six feet in height. Around the grave are smaller stones about four foot high.
    About four feet away from the grave is a big cave divided into two parts by a big stone.
    Matthew Loughlin says that the old people used to say that the giant lived in the cave. In the centre of the dividing stone is a hole, which the people believed to be used for holding some
